Karate Kata: Heian Shodan.

Katas are forms or exercises which practice the kihon (fundamental steps like punches and blocks).

Heian Shodan is usually translated as "Peaceful First Step".This was the second kata we learned from Sensei Wada, but traditionally, it is the first one taught in modern Shotokan Karate.
